Award undergraduate and graduate degrees to qualified beneficiaries.
Provide an effective and efficient system of academic equivalency, accreditation and validation as provided for under EO 330 promulgated on May 10, 1996 and CMO 21 series of 1997 issued on May 5, 1997;
Advance and promote "lifelong learning" system through a continuing development;
Conduct research on the theories and practices of non-traditional studies and academic equivalency and accreditation, locally and internationally for program enrichment and development;
Expand the beneficiary base of the program through an effective and efficient information, education and communication campaign; and
Establish partnership and network with development and regulatory institutions for assistance and support. • Award undergraduate and graduate degrees to qualified students.
Service, Integrity, Fairness, Transparency, Professionalism and Openness
NTSP is a self-study program wherein the student’s educational background, work experiences, and achievements are evaluated and accredited through a rating system that leads to the completion of an undergraduate and graduate degree.
A self-paced study program wherein modules, independent researches and other instructional materials are laid down by the college and administered by learning facilitators who help enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of the students. The final requirement is a paper presentation based on the field of specialization of the student.
The ETEEAP of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) is an educational assessment scheme which recognizes knowledge, skill and prior learning attained by individuals from non-formal and informal educational experiences.
Using equivalency competence standard and a comprehensive assessment system which employ written tests and combined assessment methodologies, a higher education institution may administer competency-based evaluation as basis of accrediting learning experiences.
A panel of assessors is convened to determine the candidate's knowledge, skills and attitudes relevant to a particular discipline and consequently equivalent credits and appropriate certificates and degrees are awarded by administering higher education institutions.
