The Institute of Continuing Professional Development (ICPD) provides quality training through intergrated industry-based professional development experiences in collaboration with the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC), the Commission on Higher Education (CHEd), and other government agencies. The Institute helps professionals get additional academic credits and upgrade their competencies to keep pace with the rising standards of different industries.
To address the needs of an organization for productivity and competitiveness, ICPD provides training programs intended to enhance workers’ capabilities. A two-day comprehensive training for a widevariety of carefully selected courses are being offered by the Institute.
The courses offered are designed to meet the ever-changing learning needs of people in the workplace. The training also provides hands-on and practical application on every course.
Short certificate courses are being offered by ICPD for lifelong learning. The certificate course can be completed in a short period of time and focuses on specific skills. The completed course can be accredited for Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree Programs. Depending on the content, program design, and duration, certificate courses are delivered face-to-face or in blended learning mode inclusive of scheduled off-line and on-line sessions.
ICPD can also provide customized certificate courses based on the client’s needs.
In keeping with the requirements of PRC, all Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training courses offered by ICPD have undergone evaluation and accredation by PRC. Each training hour has an equivalent of 1 CPD credit unit to help the professionals comply with the required number of units as mandated for renewal of their Professional Identification card.
The ICPD is an accredited CPD provider for different programs such as Architecture, Accountancy, Psychology, and Nutrition and Dietetics, among others.
