New York Rangers pipeline

The New York Rangers farm system is ranked 20th by Puck Pipeline. Despite Jeff Gorton and company declaring a rebuild in 2021, the changeover was more of a retool, as the Rangers had a good core that they just built around, hence why the process was so quick. Since then, the Rangers have been one of the most consistent teams in the NHL, which is why their pipeline is on the lower-end of the league. Rangers fans are very excited about Boston College forward Gabe Perreault, as he seems to accumilate a boat-load of points wherever he plays; the Rangers will hope that he is an Artemi Panarin replacement in a couple of years. Despite this find, the Rangers have found it difficult to develop forwards. Year after year seemed to be a big miss for them, starting with Vitali Kravtsov, moving on to Kaapo Kakko, and then what seemed like Alexis Lafreiniere until recently, who is finally breaking-out into the star he was projected to be.
