Detroit Red WIngs pipeline

The Detroit Red Wings pipeline is currently ranked 6th by Puck Pipeline. The Yzerplan has entered a cross-road in its existence in Motown. Despite the seismic accumulation of young assets for the better part of the last decade, this Red Wings team still finds itself in the centre of mediocrity. The hype surrounding the Yzerplan has fizzled out, as it is apparent that this team is poorly constructed, and not enough young talent has penetrated through the ranks. The Red Wings still have an elite pipeline, but this team needs to make the playoffs to show off something tangible. It is crucial that defensemen like Edvinsson and Sandin Pellikka step in soon and make an impact, as well as Cossa and/or Augustine between the pipes.
