Edmonton Oilers pipeline

The Edmonton Oilers farm system is currently ranked 25th by Puck Pipeline. The Oilers have been one of the best teams in the league since the COVID-19 era. Because the Oil have been in a constant buying state, the pipeline has suffered. The trade-off has proven to be valid however, especially the aquisition of Mattias Ekholm from Nashville for former 1st rounder Reid Schaefer. Shockingly, Edmonton managed to convert bottom-six centre Ryan McLeod into blue chip prospect Matthew Savoie. Due to cap constraints and wage raises, Edmonton will need youthful impact in their lineup in the coming seasons in-order to support the horses with adequate depth.
