During the morning, the students, in mixed groups, took part in a peddy-paper. These groups were formed by teachers and students from each different country, with the purpose of getting to know the township of Estreito de Câmara de Lobos, namely its main economic activity and beautiful landscapes.

Welcoming at the Câmara de Lobos Town Hall

In the afternoon, we were welcomed at the City Hall by the Mayor, Dr. Pedro Coelho,

Finally, we took a walk downtown, where we saw the different urban art projects, created with recycled materials and the Ilhéu Garden.

Day 3

The morning began with the hiking of the recommended route (PR8) – from Ponta de São Lourenço Footpath to the Sardinha's house, ending with a well-deserved swim in the Sardinha's pier, a fantastic experience for the students and teachers, who are not used to summer temperatures during the month of November. The day, then, ended with lunch and a visit to the town of Sta. Cruz.

Day 4

This day was more focused on the theme of mobility. In the morning, we were received at the public transport company "Horários do Funchal", where several topics were explained, such as, the renewal of the fleet, the actions that are developed to attract customers to public transport, the projects developed and financed by European funds and finally, we had a guided tour through the company's facilities.

During the afternoon, we were welcomed by the Mobility and Transit Division of Funchal City Hall, where we got to know some of the measures used in urban mobility, in terms of innovation, sustainability and resilience. After this presentation, we went on a guided tour through the city of Funchal, to see in loco the different aspects that were covered in the initial presentation. The day ended with a visit to the Lavradores market (traditional market) to see some of the local products.

Day 5

On the fifth day, there was a tour around the island, stopping in several places thus having the opportunity to explore, namely Pico do Arieiro, where we had a short walk to the viewpoint of the Manta's nest, where everyone was astonished with the magnificent landscapes. Afterwards we went towards Ribeiro Frio, where we were welcomed at the Aquiculture Station and we walked the Recommended Route (PR11) - Balconies' Path. After the hiking, we headed to the city of Santana, to have lunch and see the traditional Santana's houses.

Day 6

On the last day, during the morning, the students built the project's logo, using several reused materials and, in the afternoon, we made the last trip, this time to Cabo Girão. This mobility ended with the awarding of certificates to all the students and teachers, and with a dinner organised by all the host families, which allowed everyone to socialise for the last time.
