Global TLDs (.com, .org)

1. Available The domain is not registered and can be purchased by anyone.

2. Registration The domain is registered for a period of 1 to 10 years. It is then held by the registrant.

3. Active The domain is fully functional and points to a website. The registrant is in full control.

4. Expiration The domain expires at the end of its term if not renewed.

5. Grace Period A period (around 30-45 days) after expiration where the registrant can still renew the domain at the regular price.

6. Redemption Period A period (around 30 days) where the domain can still be recovered, but for a significantly higher fee.

7. Pending Deletion A short period (around 5 days) before the domain is released to the public. During this time, it cannot be renewed or registered.

8. Released The domain is released and becomes available for anyone to register on a first-come, first-served basis.

TLD .sg

1. Available Same as Global TLDs.

2. Registration Registered for 1 to 5 years. Requires a Singaporean ID number for individuals or a local company for businesses.

3. Active Same as Global TLDs.

4. Expiration The domain expires after the renewal date has passed.

5. Grace Period A 30-day grace period for renewal. After this period, the domain goes into a "pending deletion" state for 15 days.

6. Redemption Period There is no separate redemption period. Once the domain is deleted, it is available for re-registration.

7. Pending Deletion A 15-day "pending deletion" period.

8. Released The domain is released after the pending deletion period.

TLD .my

1. Available Same as Global TLDs.

2. Registration Registered for 1 to 5 years. Requires an authorized Malaysian registrar.

3. Active Same as Global TLDs.

4. Expiration The domain expires after the renewal date has passed.

5. Grace Period A 30-day grace period for renewal. After this period, the domain goes into a "pending deletion" state for 30 days.

6. Redemption Period There is no separate redemption period. Once the domain is deleted, it is available for re-registration.

7. Pending Deletion A 30-day "pending deletion" period.

8. Released The domain is released after the pending deletion period.

TLD .au

1. Available Same as Global TLDs.

2. Registration Registered for 1 to 5 years. Requires a business or trademark connection to Australia.

3. Active Same as Global TLDs.

4. Expiration The domain expires after the renewal date has passed.

5. Grace Period A 30-day grace period for renewal. Requires the original registrant to renew.

6. Redemption Period There is no separate redemption period. Once the domain is deleted, it is available for re-registration.

7. Pending Deletion A 5-day "pending deletion" period.

8. Released The domain is released after the pending deletion period.

TLD .nz

1. Available Same as Global TLDs.

2. Registration Registered for 1 to 10 years. Less restrictive; anyone can register.

3. Active Same as Global TLDs.

4. Expiration The domain expires after the renewal date has passed.

5. Grace Period A 30-day grace period for renewal.

6. Redemption Period A 30-day redemption period.

7. Pending Deletion The domain can be re-registered by anyone after the redemption period.

8. Released The domain is released after the pending deletion period.

TLD .uk

1. Available Same as Global TLDs.
