PHASE 4: Implementation
Committee is up and running, meeting regularly
Projects are in place and there are multiple on-ramps established for students to access the seal as an opportunity
Systems have been put into place to raise awareness about the seal and its requirements
School district is maintaining appropriate records in order to identify students who have earned a NYS Seal of Civic Readiness.
Some students are on their way to earning the seal
Administrator knows how to submit the names of seal earners in the NYSED system: "At the end of each school year in which a school District participates in the program, the school District shall submit a report to the commissioner, in a form and by a date prescribed by the commissioner, that includes the number of students receiving the Seal along with relevant data including, but not limited to the criteria chosen under subparagraph (4)(ii) and (iii) of this subdivision; and (iii) establish and identify a NYS Seal of Civic Readiness Committee (SCRC)."
