Form a Seal of Civic Readiness Committee that includes:
One faculty member serving as the main contact with NYSED to collect data about school offerings and submit copies of student work back to NYSED
One School Counselor OR other staff who will track student progress toward earning the Seal
One Social Studies Teacher (minimum)

advertise the seal as an option for students
NYSED relies on local district committees to use the seal criteria provided by the state to build rubrics & determine criteria to satisfy student completion. Districts will only report to the state when a student has earned the seal, nothing else. (not amount of points, how they earned the point, their project)
