What to keep in mind for Personal Statement:
One page is recommended (around 750-850 words)
You can have a generic PS and customize the last paragraph for specific programs
Make sure you proof read your PS, and ask other trusted sources (me included) to proof read and provide feedback on content
The first paragraph should capture attention – a narrative or compelling story is recommended
PS should be PERSONAL…sharing something unique to you and not regurgitating your CV
