Our Semester Highlights
Summer 2023
Completion of Internship: Duke Medical Center
Tiffany Rowell (6th year graduate student) completed her Internship at Duke Medical Center. Tiffany has worked extremely hard to expand her knowledge and skills in her work with traumatized youth. As she prepares for graduation, our team is filled with pride and excitement as she continues to represent both herself and the PRADAA Team. We can't wait to see all of your exceptional work within her future endeavors. Congratulations Tiffany!
Spring 2023
ICPS 2023 Brussels International Conference
The PRADAA Lab was very proud to have the opportunity to travel to Brussels, Belgium for the APS International Convention of Psychological Sciences 2023 Conference. The team lead a symposium titled, PTSD in Black Perinatal Women: Under-assessed, Under-diagnosed, Under-treated. We appreciated the great response from the symposium attendees. Also, Keaton Somerville (5th year graduate student) and Alexis McGhee-Dinvaut (1st year graduate student) were able to present posters about sister circles and black grieving behaviors. Our PRADAA team can't wait until our next conference!
