Here's a simple example to illustrate:
Load the Sales Data:
Import your sales data into Power BI.
Create the Matrix:
Select the Matrix from the "Build" pane.
Add Fields:
Drag the "Category" field to the "Columns" area.
Drag the "Subcategory" field to the "Columns" area.
Drag the "Sales" field to the "Rows" area.
Customize:
Use the "Format" pane to adjust the chart's appearance.
1. Off the subtotals
Under the format pane, select row subtotal and turn it off
2. Change font colour for the Subtotals
Under the format pane, select row subtotal and turn it on - go to values and select font colour - also turn on the option apply to labels - your font colour and label colour will be changed
3. Change font colour for the Totals
Under the format pane, select row grand total and turn it on - go to values and select font colour - also turn on the option apply to labels - your font colour and label colour will be changed
