Psychro Visual . . . that reflects the digital way you work
Psychrometirc chart presents graphically the air properties used for air conditioning calculations.
Let's get solutions and checks done in a simpler way. Only 2 input parameters (Dry bulb temperature, and Relative humidity or Wet bulb temperature) are required to find state point properties, point plotting, point-to-point line plotting.
Not given Relative Humidity (RH), how?
You can input Wet bulb temperature. Psychro Visual also comes with built-in RH Finder to find RH from given Wet bulb temperature or Humidity ratio.
Feature: Right-Click on input textbox for selections. Built-in tools are Mixing Air (MA) calculator, Temperature converter, RH Finder.
At Atm. Pressure input, built-in tools are Pressure converter, Pressure at altitude calculator.
Add, Edit, Delete Points, how?
Designed in a familiar look and style, it is just like using spreadsheet. No learning curve is required.
Feature: You can save input points for subsequent retrieval via file open. It also automatically retrieves your last working input points when you return to Psychro Visual for the next round. All these are specially considered ..... to save you time in keying in points repeatedly.
Important to Note: Chart Range and Units
Pyschro Visual is designed in SI units only. IP units is not available.
Chart Range:
Dry Bulb Temperature: 0 - 50 deg.C.
Humidity Ratio: 0 - 0.05 kg/kg.
Atmospheric Pressure Range: 22,632 - 107,478 Pa

Feature: You can turn on/off RH, DryBulb Temperature and Enthalpy lines.
(3) Process Analysis Results (via copy/paste)
Coil load analysis
Room load analysis
OA load analysis
Coil condensate
Feature: Airflow can be Standard or Actual.
OA Load analysis (OA to RA): Airflow = 0.4371 CMS
Sensible heat (kW) = 7.34 (2.1 Ton)
Latent heat (kW) = 14.74 (4.2 Ton)
Total heat (kW) = Sensible + Latent = 22.08 (6.3 Ton)
Total heat (kW) [enthalpy method] = 22.52 (6.4 Ton)
Sensible Heat Ratio = Sensible/Total Heat = 0.332
Actual specific volume (m³/kg) = 0.9113
Actual air density (kg/m³) = 1.1205
Add-on Tools: Find Intersection Point (PsychroX)
2 built-in methods to find intersection point: Graphical or Numerical method
see downloadable Intersection Point Example: Find ADP
Tutorial Example
Design an air-conditioning system for the following conditions. The room condition is achieved by first cooling & dehumidifying process, and then by heating process.
Outdoor air conditions: 32 oC, 65% RH
Room air conditions: 25 oC, 60% RH
Supply airflow: 15000 CMH
Coil dew temperature: 13 oC
Calculate the following:
[1] Coil cooling load
[2] Heating load
[3] Outdoor air load
[4] Coil condensate
