InterpolateTableValue: a small calculator for bi-linear interpolation between tabulated values
Bi-linear interpolation is performed using linear interpolation first in one direction, and then again in another direction. For the purpose of estimating value between provided data values, linear interpolation is useful and simple. One should be aware that linear interpolation is not accurate for non-linear data, particularly when it comes to very non-linear data distributions.Thus, when employing the linear interpolation method, it is important to comprehend the data distribution.

Application Example: Reading Steam Tables
Given the steam table, find the Volume at Pressure = 0.91 MPa and Temperature = 412 oC.
Solution: by bi-linear interpolation method
At Pressure = 0.91 MPa and Temperature = 412 oC, the Volume is 0.3479 m3/kg.
Remarks: The Volume is 0.3436 m3/kg as determined by the steam table program. See Steam Pressure Drop program.
