Was founded in Huntsville, AL in 1996. We are a woman owned small business and are proud to support our military. In 2000, PTS developed a Power Supply Docking Station (PSDS) compatible with SINCGARS, Harris and Raytheon tactical radio systems. We employ other small businesses in the North Alabama area to assist in the production of the PSDS. PTS takes great pride in the fact that our product is made in the USA.
PTS PSDS has become an invaluable component of expeditionary command posts with a high demand for our specialized product. We value the ongoing relationship we have established with the military and we are here to support the military wherever the mission takes them.
Want to thank PTS Communication for their generous donation in helping make Placer County ARES vision of deployable with portable antenna systems.
WHAT's NEW
I want to introduce a wonderful friend and fellow Emergency Responder. I have deployed several times with her to large scale and devastating disasters all over the United States.
She has developed this app for both Android and IOS. It is called Civasure. Below is a brief summary of the application.
Civasure is a community-focused preparedness platform designed to measure and improve household readiness before a disaster occurs. Individuals complete a brief readiness check that evaluates essential factors such as supplies, evacuation plans, and overall preparedness. The platform then translates that input into a simple readiness score for the user (coming soon), along with guidance on how to improve (coming soon). The process is quick, accessible, and designed to increase awareness and action at the individual level.
At the same time, Civasure aggregates this information into anonymized, geographic insights that reveal preparedness trends across communities. Instead of relying on post-event data, organizations can see real-time patterns showing where residents are well-prepared and where gaps exist. This provides a clearer picture of community readiness leading up to an event, allowing for more targeted outreach and planning.
The platform is built to support emergency managers, healthcare systems, and community organizations by turning individual preparedness into actionable intelligence. By identifying trends early, Civasure helps shift disaster management from reactive response to proactive planning, ultimately strengthening resilience at both the household and community level.
