Performance Gap
Kappa Alpha Theta as a chapter does not feel prepared for formal recruitment. We need to have more recruitment training in the weeks prior to the formal recruitment process starting
Performance Diagnosis
The performance gap occurs because of a lack in the number of hours Kappa Alpha Theta spends training its members to be prepared for different events each day of recruitment. Kappa Alpha Thetas members do not feel equipped/ready to handle situations that arise outside of what was practiced. As well as not feeling prepared even in the situations that were practiced. Overall, the number of hours and number of members in attendance during the work week is not adequate in order to prepare all of the Kappa Alpha Thetas chapter to be successful during formal recruitment.
Performance Diagnosis Matrix
What does this chart tell us?Â
This chart is divided into two colors, green and red. The color red represents an issue within Kappa Alpha Theta at James Madison University either at the organizational level, process level, team level, or individual level. Meanwhile, the color green means that those levels are executing well within either of the performance variables. This chart was able to inform us that the main issue within Kappa Alpha Theta Eta Rho chapter is that the core issues fall within the team levels and individual levels. Due to observation, this is because there is a lack of efficacy at the individual level because some members feel overwhelmed because of the lack of community amongst the team level.
