Guests enter into the soundstage and find themselves in an old train station to serve as the queue. Winding through the train station, guests see memorabilia from the film, as well as hints of what’s to come, such as missing vault keys, a letter warning of a potential heist, and more. As guests wind through the station, a train whistle can be heard of the arriving train, an engine with two passenger cars. Guests load into the trains and find an empty and available room where all guests can see. Like Hogwarts Express, guests sit on either side of the room looking out a window that is actually a screen. After all guests are loaded, the pullman conductor yells “All Aboard” and the train pulls out of the station. The train doesn’t go far however and turns the corner pulling into one of 4 simulator bays just out of sight from the guests allowing up to 5 trains to be running at once (4 trains in the bay and 1 getting loaded).
The trains pull out of the train station and through the “window” to see the train passing through old London before going into a tunnel and exiting on the other side in the countryside. The train rolls along the countryside for a little while until the train turns a corner to roll along a smaller dirt trail. Along this dirt road, people are hanging around with some horses enjoying the sun and not moving. As the train passes them, they suddenly get back on their horses and start taking off down the trail. This kicks off the main event as the train is trying to get away from these would-be robbers. The robbers disappear from the windows and it seems all is safe for the guests aboard. After a few seconds of “safety”, the back door of the train launches open to see the robbers have made it safely on the train and are working their way up it looking for any gold in the rooms along the way. Like the movie, quick one liners and guest interactions turn this heist into a fun comedy time for everyone involved as the robbers joke with the guests as they search for gold. After searching each room, they continue on to the engine at the front where they jump off the train and wave at the guests in the windows, with their hands full of bags of gold from a successful train robbery. The Train Engineer comes over the speakers and apologises to the guests for having to experience a robbery and that the train is heading back to the station. The train pulls back into the station and has a police officer “record statements” from any passenger who had important details about the robbery so that they could track down the robbers.
