After entering the Soundstage, guests are taken back to the old barn where the car was first restored in the movie. Guests wind their way through the London countryside before entering through the barn and into the barn garage. Inside the barn, the guests walk past awards, newspaper clippings, and more memorabilia about the car’s life of racing. Halfway through the barn, the queue splits in two to head towards the two identical theatres. Once at the loading platform on either side, there’s not 1 Chitty Chitty Bang Bang car, but 6. All lined up in a row together. With everyone loaded in, the car deploys its wings and flies up and loads into the large screen surrounding it. 

The cars fly up into the theatre to be set up in a row of 6 cars around a large curved screen, similar to the Simpsons ride at Universal. The screen turns on and guests find themselves back outside in front of the barn before picking up speed and driving out of the barn and down the main road. While going down this road quickly, guests fly past Truly Scrumptious, causing her to veer off course and into the small lagoon, just like she does in the movie. After apologizing to Truly, the car takes off and heads towards the City.

The cars then fly a few passes over the carnival showing all of the fun festivities below complete with Caractacus Potts offering haircuts with his new machine. After a brief flyover of the carnival, the car continues towards The Scrumptious Sweet Co., where guests can hear them performing Toot Sweets inside complete with the whistling candy. The car does a few passes around the factory before flying through an open bay door in time for the finale dance number of the song, “joining” them in dance and then flying back out the same door before the dogs arrive. As the cars pull away from the factory, a grand prix passes by with cars of all designs racing down the street causing the guests to join in the race. The car takes some shortcuts and tight corners to rapidly gain and eventually pass the other cars before winning the race! The car celebrates by spinning a few donuts at the finish line before picking up speed again to take off and start flying again. The car is in the air for a bit before flying into a few clouds while Grandpa Potts sings ‘Posh!’. When flying out of the clouds, the guests are no longer in England, but have now flown all the way to Vulgaria. Opening scenes of Baron Bomburst’s castle are seen as guests loop around it a few times before flying though the main gate, past the guards and visitors in the main courtyard and straight into the main hall where the Baron is waiting to be entertained. Luckily Truly and Caractacus are there to perform Doll on a Music Box for the Baron while guests dance along pleasing the Baron while the car flies into the dungeon of the castle to crash into the Child Catcher and free all the imprisoned children. After successfully helping the children escape, the car flies out of the castle to see Truly and Caractacus in another Chitty Chitty Bang Bang car where they fly away out of Vulgaria and back home. Upon landing back at the barn, Caractacus thanks guests for such a great day and story and hope they have a great rest of their day.
