This module is worth 40 academic credits (which equates to 400 hours of learning) at Level 7 of the Framework for Higher Education Qualifications (FHEQ) and is usually studied over six months. The asynchronous content is supported by 7 days of workshops (a mixture of on-line and face-to-face). Students are also required to complete 90 hours of supervised practice (at least 60 of which must be with their designated prescribing practitioner).
To meet the requirements set by the GPhC, this module employs component marking which means that students must pass all of the following:
