The Start of the Glide, bringing the knee to knee
The athlete, unseats himself from the crouch position and extends the non-throwing side foot towards the toeboard and pushes off the heal on the throwing side. Shoulders and head are focused back
From the flight phase, the athlete lands, with his throwing side foot in the middle, slightly before the left side lands. The shoulders and upper body, remain relaxed and back.
As the left leg comes down, the right knee rotates, and initiates the upper body
The left leg blocks to accelerate the right side around. The shot begins to come off the neck for the throw.
The shot putter, rotates into the direction of the throw. The thumb is down and the arm tracks behind the ball.
Similarly to the previous picture, the release angle is low, but the ball gets height by utilizing the legs and hips for lift.
After the ball is released the athlete continues the rotation of the body and follows through
