WIth over 20 years of coaching, I am taking my expertise online! Throughout my coaching career, I have coached numerous State and National Qualifiers, State Champions, a National Championships Runner Up and many school record holders.
As an athlete, in high school I was an "All-State" athlete in the shot put, medaling in both the indoor and outdoor New York State Championships, as well as qualifying for the National Championships, and setting an indoor and outdoor school record in the shot put, which still stands today, over 20 years later.
As a collegiate thrower, I was awarded an athletic scholarship to the NCAA Division 1 throwing powerhouse, Manhattan College. At Manhattan, I was a two-time conference champion, a 7-time qualifier to the IC4A championships, and a national qualifier in the Men's Discus Throw. While competing in college, I was a runner-up to Olympian Reese Hoffa at the Verizon Millrose Games, as well as a bronze medalist the year before.
As a post collegiate athlete, I competed for both the Nike Central Park Track Club, were I was a scoring athlete on the Club National Championship Team. After my time at the Central Park Track Club, I competed for the Shore Athletic Club.
As a Masters athlete, I secured numerous "All-American" accolades, with US #1 rankings; in 2012 for the indoor shot put, and in 2016 the 35-pound weight, the 56 pound weight throw and the throws pentathlon, as well as a World #3 ranking with the 56-pound weight throw in 2016.
Lastly, as a both a coach and athlete, I feel that it is my job to continue to grow and provide the best for my athletes, and in 2015 authored "Everything You Need to Coach the Throws." A 300+ page book on progressions, drills, season plans and history of the throws.
