In module 5, the main point here is what are the guidelines in making test papers and what are the advantage and disadvatages in it. As a future educator, it is important to have a guidelines when making test paper because we really to ensure that the test contents aligns with the instructional objectives and the learning objectives. Through this, we can totally ensure and tell that the test assesses the knowledge and skills that the learners' need to acquire. Also, guidelines also can make/maintain fairness and consistently, providing equal opportunities for all students to demonstrate their knowledge and skills. It can also minimize errors and biases. In making test paper, there is also advantage and disadvantages in it. Let's proceed first with the advantages, test questionnare provide a way to asesss students understanding and knowlegde of the subject matter. Throught this, teachers can easily identify if which part may be needed for more support or instruction. Another advantage is that, it provides an opportunity for the students to recieve feedback wherein they can reflect on it and will be able to motivate them to work towards enhancing their knowledge and skills. But, there are also disadvantages, the first one is that test papers/questionnaire can sometimes focused on the rote memorization instead of promoting critical thinking skills and understanding. Then, it is very time-consuming, when it comes to designing, administering and grading test papers, yes it is very time consuming for the teachers. But overall, test papers can be very valuable tool when assessing students learning.
