Stanwick Lakes

What's there?

A huge country park- great for walks and bike rides. There is also a BBQ area and visitor centre with small soft play area . The biggest attraction for us is the play area with water, sand and climbing equipment.

Where is it?

Other things I need to know......

• Lots of parking on site (charges apply)

• Toilets available in the Visitor Centre

• Refreshments in the Visitor Centre including ice cream

We like it because.......

It has a lot of water to paddle in and a lot of sand to make sandcastles. It is fun to play hide and seek as there are lots if places where you can hide. There is an obstacle course away from the main play area. This is quieter but it is really tricky to complete!

Verdict

This is a great day out. We take a picnic and stay all day. 10/10
