Papworth Park

What's there?

A large paddling pool and variety of play equipment including a huge climbing frame with twisty slide, swinging tyres, a big wooden climbing frame and some smaller equipment for younger children. Across a little stream there is a big playing field and a trim trail.

Where is it?

Other things I need to know....

• Parking available on surrounding streets

• Portaloos are there when the pool is filled during the school summer holidays

• Usually an ice cream van and shops nearby if refreshments are needed.

We like it because.....

I like the trim trail because it has monkey bars. I also like the pool because not many parks have them, I like climbing on the wooden climbing frame.

It has a really good wood climbing frame. It is made of wooden logs and it has a net that you can sit down on if you want. It has a big pool to go in. A bit of it is in shade so it does not get too hot. It goes deep in the middle. It has a really fast slide to go down but when it is wet and muddy you go down slower.

Verdict

This one of our favourite parks. We can stay all day 10/10!
