Ferry Meadows

What's There?

Ferry Meadows has a huge green space where we played football, cricket and frisbee. Lots of people walk dogs and fly kites here. There are two parks with equipment. One has sand and wooden equipment- this is probably better for smaller children. The other park has big climbing frames and is more suitable for older children. There is a mini train ride to take you between the parks (this needs to be paid for!). There is also a big lake where we saw swans and their cygnets. It is a lovely place to walk. Around the park are BBQ spaces.

• Cafe and ice cream van on site.

What We Like About It....

We spent a whole day here! There were lots of tree to sit under for shade and have a picnic. Even though it was busy there was enough space for everyone. We liked having space to play games and run around.

Verdict

We would give this park a 7.5 out of 10.
