There is quite a small play area, most of which was fenced off for repairs when we visited. However, it does have huge woods and lots of branches and logs to make dens. There is also a number of lakes for pond dipping and long grass for minibeast hunting.
Car parking on site (pay and display)
Cafe on site
Toilets on site
Shelters and areas for picnics
The best part of this country park is that you can be in the woods and make dens. You can also climb on the fallen branches. You can hire nets for pond dipping from the cafe. There is lots of wildlife to see in the woods and the grass.
This is best for being out in the woods. The park part was not as enjoyable. Overall we would give it 8/10.
