CIRCULATION SERVICES
BORROW A BOOK
A library service wherein the bona fide students, faculty & staff of PCS can borrow books and other materials from the Library by filling-up this form https://bit.ly/PCSBorrow-A-Book. We strongly suggest that the client consult first the Online Public Access Catalog to search for book/s to be loaned out. Take note of the following: call number, author, title, and location of the book/s to determine the exact location of the book/s in the library. A maximum of 5 books for home use can be loaned out for one (1) week.
Procedure:
1. Request for books should be done online using the “Borrow A Book Form” (https://bit.ly/PCSBorrow-A-Book).
2. Library materials will be ready 2-3 days from the date of the request.
3. The client will be notified via email when the book is ready for pick-up, or when the book you returned has accrued late fines. Pick up time is 1: 00 am to 4:00 PM from Monday to Friday. A representative, parents, relative or courier service may get the book/s on behalf of the borrower providing that an authorization letter and a copy of the ID.
4. Books must be picked up or dropped off at the Guard House Gate 1.
PRINTING/PHOTOCOPYING SERVICES
This allows the students and faculty to print and photocopy for research and school purposes only the fees varies. This service is available at the Grade School Library, Ground Floor of the Instructional Media Center.
ONLINE BOOK RECOMMENDATION
This service is intended to give library customers access to resources that are specifically suited to their needs. To facilitate receipt of recommendations from our library clients through non-physical contact transactions in the effort to develop library collections, PCS student and employees may recommend book/s for purchase via the library’s e-mail or through the “Online Book Reservation Form:
Procedure:
1. PCS students and employees will fill-out the Online Book Recommendation Form https://bit.ly/PCSLibBookRecom.
2. Provide in the email the bibliographic information (Title, author,edition (if any); publisher, copyright date, subject etc.) of your recommended book/s for purchase.
3. Procurement of books will go through the standard Procedure of Procurement.
4. The librarian will inform the faculty once materials are ready for circulation.
