Wish Lists
The PTA facilitates Amazon wish lists for items that teachers and staff need in their classrooms. This is a great opportunity for OTES families to show their support for the teachers and staff who work so hard to educate our children. Below you will find links to the specific wish lists you can use to directly purchase items for teachers and staff. We are hoping to supply the classrooms with the items needed for a successful school year!

Teacher Grants
PTA Teacher Support Grants provide discretionary funds to enhance students’ education experience. Grants are intended to be used for innovative programming and initiatives not covered by existing MCPS budgets or dedicated funds. Funds may be used for supplies, materials or field trips that support curricular goals.
Grant amounts awarded to individual teachers are limited to approximately $100. Grant amounts for teachers applying as a group will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
The application deadline for the 2023-2024 school year is December 4.

Teacher & Staff Appreciation
The PTA celebrates our wonderful OTES teachers and staff throughout the year in a variety of ways. These include a welcome back lunch in the fall, winter and holiday gestures of appreciation (such as our much-loved "chocolate bar" around Valentine's Day, Teacher & Staff Appreciation week events in May, and more.
