We organize a variety of events throughout the school year, all with the goal of building community, advocating for our school, and helping our kids be their best selves.
Students and families reunite at the end of the summer. We provide ice cream to sweeten the day as students meet their new teachers and reunite with friends.
The Scholastic Book Fair takes place in October with in-person and online options for buying books. This annual fundraiser supports teachers, students and our school media center.
Public shopping will be held before and after school during the fair, and during OTES Night At the Museum (TWI Curriculum Night).
Email ptaotes@gmail.com to help volunteer!
When the bookfair website goes live you can view the books and set up an e-wallet. To view last year's book fair website, click here
Every year we honor Martin Luther King Jr on MLK Day by coming together as a community to celebrate his words and works by organizing community service projects, art, and virtual fieldtrips.
Our diverse community of families and friends gather together to share their cultures, including food, clothing, and music.
During this annual event, we celebrate and encourage a love of reading through a variety of activities, including a used Book Swap, Read-a-thon fundraiser, Family Reading Morning and StoryWalk.
We cover the cost of the county-wide thank you picnic for our safety patrols for the outstanding job they do all year to keep our students and families safe on the to and from school.
