Updates from the Electoral Working Group

July 3, 2022 Update

On Thursday, June 30, the Electoral Working Group began our endorsement process for the 27th Middlesex District State Representative race by inviting candidates Erika Uyterhoeven and Jason Mackey to participate by completing a questionnaire by Friday, July 15 via email. On Friday, July 1st, both candidates were also called on the phone numbers provided by their campaign websites to inform them of the endorsement process, and messages were left.

Candidates who submit a questionnaire will be invited to participate in a candidate forum in July, after which our membership will vote on which candidate to endorse, if any. Our elected Steering Committee may also weigh in with recommendations. Candidates who receive at least sixty percent of the vote will be endorsed, and will receive support from our organization. Endorsed candidates will also be eligible for endorsement from Our Revolution National, which can provide support with its own tools and resources.
