The rising cases of teenage pregnancy in Calamba called the attention of the Division Office, leading to more proposals for sex awareness and gender seminars.

Dr. Lino Sanchez, an Education Program Supervisor, announced that there is an eager intention coming from public and private schools to support these advocacies.
"May mga program na related sa values that plays a big role in the education sa buong Calamba...open din ang Halang Elementary School para sa maganda purpose na ito," he confirmed.

Responsible for the knowledgeable
He also reiterated that early pregnancy is an issue that the education department could not control but still leaves a responsibility for them to further instill values and proper knowledge to the learners.
"Another option na pwedeng gawin, syempre ay ang pag-aadvise sa loob ng kanya-kanyang school," Dr. Lino suggested.
("Another option that we can do is to advice the students inside each school")
On top of that, he adviced that the guidance councelors should not forget to focus on reproductive matters together.
