The Society of Proactive Role Models Inspiring Total Development (SPRINT) is an exclusive organization under the Office of the Associate Dean of College of Computer Studies. As an organization, SPRINT aims to provide holistic opportunities to CCS students with consistent, above-average academic standing to let them excel not only in the field of academics but also in the field of leadership and service.
A year-long awareness campaign intended to incentivize student leadership and civic engagement by recognizing SPRINTers who have spearhead initiatives, manage projects, and contribute to community development for the past term or months.
A year-long volunteering initiative meant to open up to SPRINTers opportunities to take an active part in engaging in nation-building and socio-civic activities inside and outside the university with partner organizations and communities.
In partnership with TND, workshops and trainings will be given more socio-civic flair in an attempt to create a more socially aware SPRINT.
A group composed of representatives from certain SPRINT batches shall be created and they will be asked to peform certain task each month. This activity aims to build a more open environment where everyone gets to interact with one another (even if the batch varies).
An endeavor that aims to recognize outstanding members of the organization.
At the end of every gathering, a series of questions shall be flashed or shared with the group. Getting a correct answer will correspond to a point. The SPRINTer who will incur the highest number of points at the end of every term shall be awarded and be given a token of appreciation.
This aims to encourage camaraderie amongst SPRINTers through Review nights, where everybody is welcome to share their thoughts all while learning from each other.
SPRINT prides itself in raising CCS students to not only be excellent students, but also excellent leaders, and excellent members of society. Through SPRINT's termly training held with different seasoned professionals from various walks of life, SPRINT ensures that its members are equipped with the soft skills they need in order to be the leaders of tomorrow.
A message delivery service will be offered to all students, SPRINT will deliver their message to a certain someone that they choose. The option of adding gifts with the message is also possible.
SPRINT's annual Company Talks serve as a bridge for the CCS students and companies to reach each other, allowing companies to offer opportunities to the students, and allowing students to familiarize themselves with what it takes to flourish in their future careers.
