Welcome to CATCH2T26, the dynamic and ambitious batch unit representative under the esteemed College of Computer Studies Government (CSG) and the University Student Government (USG). As a team, we are excited to embark on this journey of creating a well-informed, unified, and fair representation for our batch in the Lasallian community.
We envision a batch that is not just heard but listened to. A batch that is not just represented, but actively engaged in the decision-making process. A batch that is not just a part of the community, but a driving force in shaping it. With this in mind, we pledge to work tirelessly to make this vision a reality.
displayPublications() is a year-long project that aims to celebrate holidays, birthdays, and special advocacy days to spread awareness and teach the importance of these dates. This will be done by posting a series of publication materials on the batch student government's social media pages.
The ABC'S of coding aims to familiarize CCS students with industry standard technology applications such as git and github. This shall be done through the use of publication materials that contain tips, tricks, and tutorials on using industry standard applications. This will then give CCS students an edge as they will be knowledgeable with applications that are commonly used in the tech industry.
To show collectivism and push for batch belongingness, to be able to identify your batchmates, to be Cn (seen) as a ID122 CCS, we are will make a CATCH2T26 merchandise exclusive for ID122 CCS students. The revenue will be used as additional funding for future external projects. Discounts will be given for scholars.
#define Enlistment aims to equip our batchmates with the necessary information and skills they need to properly enlist the first time. This will be done through a series of tutorials and a "hotline" where we would be able to respond to their queries in realtime through the use of conference applications.
Ready Player 122 is an event that allows the CCS froshies to familiarize themselves with the famous Lasallian hotspots. This will be done through a series of missions and challenges in must-know areas in DLSU, where each accomplished challenge would lead to a next area. The project will foster sportsmanship and camaraderie within the batch and at the same time familiarize the batch with the Lasallian hotspots in DLSU.
The CCS 122 Telegram Announcements Channels aims to update students about forthcoming events, deadlines, and other essential information through the use of a Telegram Announcement Channel. This will allow students to be more informed without having to go through several sources due to a dedicated area for announcements.
InterCATCH is a year-long project that brings the Batch Advisory Board closer to the students through the use of an interblock council. This interblock council will then make regular constituency checks with a specific checklist from the Batch Legislator or the Batch advisory board. The project aims to strengthen the personal connection of the CATCH2T26 Batch Student Government to its constituents.
CATCH News is a term long event that aims to combat misinformation, disinformation, and tackle relevant societal and national issues. This will be done by teaching our batchmates how to handle and fight misinformation and disinformation through the use of technology and online informative videos.
DLSU Job Expo 2023 is going to be a six to eight day that provides Lasallians with internship and employment opportunities by bringing companies to the University for recruitment. During the same week, company events in the form of company talks and case studies are also held to introduce Lasallians to different industries and emphasize the importance of career planning.
