ONECCS is the College of Computer Studies Student Council consisting of the University Student Government College and Batch Units, and organizations of the Council of Student Organizations and the office of the Associate Dean.
Through the ONECCS website, we envision:
a more connected CCS by giving them a platform to communicate with other batches,
a more informed CCS by reducing the confusion that is left due to unanswered queries,
and a more transparent CSG by keeping you up to date with the latest projects and plans.
The University Student Government is the democratic and autonomous body representing the student body of De La Salle University. Under USG are the Computer Studies Government and the different batch units of the College of Computer Studies which you can communicate with through the links on the side:
La Salle Computer Society is the pioneering organization in the College of Computer Studies. It has been accredited by the Council of Student Organizations and has served De La Salle University for over 35 years. We are an organization that encourages student growth beyond academic learning, promotes community welfare, and establishes linkages between members and external relations through the provision of student services and opportunities.
The Peer Tutors Society (PTS) is an initiative under the Office of the Associate Dean of College of Computer Studies. It is a society of volunteer students who are willing to serve as tutors to students who need academic assistance. PTS aims to select, train, qualify, and deploy a group of volunteer students in order to conduct individualized (one-on-one) or group studies / tutoring sessions for students in various subjects.
The Society of Proactive Role Models INspiring Total development (SPRINT) is an exclusive organization under the Office of the Associate Dean of the College of Computer Studies. As an organization, SPRINT aims to provide holistic opportunities to CCS students with consistent, above-average academic standing to let them excel not only in the field of academics but also in the field of leadership and service.
INDIE stands for Initiators of Development in Interactive Entertainment. INDIE caters to the needs of aspiring game creators not only through assisting them in their academics, but by also honing any relevant game development/game art skills, providing opportunities to showcase their talents to internal and external communities, establishing partnerships with other schools and industries, and forming a fun and memorable college organization experience.
The Microsoft Student Community (MSC) is an avenue for members to hone their technical and soft skills, both of which can contribute to their professional profile. It is an initiative started by Microsoft Student Partners, now known as Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors (MLSA).
Google Developer Student Club (GDSC) is a community group for students to build their professional and personal network, get access to Google developer resources, and work together to build solutions for local problems in a peer-to-peer learning environment. We empower students by bridging the gap between theory and practice. We do this by giving students exclusive access to Google developer resources that you can ultimately use to uplift communities.
The De La Salle University ACM Student Chapter is an internationally recognized student chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) — the world's largest educational and scientific computing society. As an organization under the Department of Software Technology, it envisions itself to be at the forefront of initiating activities for students whose career goals and interests align with research-oriented paths and applied computing.
