Assessment

SCOPE is a class, so we need to give you a grade at the end. At the same time, it is like a professional experience in terms of the engineering skills (e.g. professional and technical skills) needed to succeed. SCOPE is meant to be a major culminating event in your Olin curriculum. As such, there are ways in which SCOPE serves as a transition from Olin to the real world. For the most part, in the real world, much of your assessment is meant to give you feedback about your current performance and help you improve your future performance. We will focus on assessment that links the learning objectives to your deliverables.
