o Call 211, a free 24-7 referral hotline. Information available through 211 includes basic needs, food assistance, free tax preparation, holiday assistance, housing, job training, legal counseling, mental health services, substance abuse services, volunteer opportunities, and more.

    • Personally reach out to your neighbors and ask them what you can do to help each other. Do you have elderly or infirm neighbors, or neighbors with children? Can you shovel their sidewalk? Help rake leaves? Repair a porch rail? Share a meal? Babysit?
