In 10 years the project has impacted the lives and future of 1200 children from 8 slums. Today these children, have become role-models for other children, and change- makers in their community. The model has also been replicated in Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi.

FUNDING SUPPORT

Since Parvarish - The Museum School serves underprivileged children, it never takes any fees from them. While the hard earned savings of the Founder and his friends supported the initial 3 years, philanthropic Tata group Sir Dorabji Tata Trust supported the project for next 6 years. iPartner UK supported 1 year and the Bangalore replication too.

NOW, that the model has proven its worth, and has won the trust and hearts of local citizens, it wishes to transform itself into a Citizen’s project. If citizens of Bhopal can come together, to own and support different parts of the project, Parvarish - The Museum School will ensure that every underprivileged child in the city becomes a truly independent, and responsible citizen.

THE BUDGET of The Museum School is as below:

BUDGET FOR 150 CHILDREN P.A.

Transport (3 busses): Rs 5,50,000/-

Salary (13 Teachers): Rs 3,90,000/-

Coordinator: Rs 1,14,000/-

Food for children: Rs 4,29,000/-

Teaching Aids, Stationary: Rs 36,000/-

Annual Function: Rs 70,000/-

Vocational Training: Rs 50,000/-

Administrative: Rs 42,000/-

TOTAL: Rs 16,81,000/-

PER CHILD: Rs 11210 per annum OR Rs 935/- per month
