10:00am - 12:00pm Campus Tours and Ice Breakers
Explore your new campus on a tour by your O-Week leaders! Join the first tour at 10am or the second at 11am, at the flagpole in the quad. We’ll have ice breakers in the quad at the same time, so come by before or after your tour to get to know your classmates! *This tour only covers King’s, but ask your leaders about your class(es) at Dalhousie and they’ll tell you where to go.
1:00 - 3:00pm Campus Scavenger Hunt
Now that you know your way around, it’s time to put your skills to the test. Follow the clues to discover the history and ghost stories of King’s. Scope out your classrooms and the coolest student spots on campus. This isn’t a timed race, but we will have goodies for those who make it to the end!

Bring a blanket and a mug out to the lawn and settle in for a movie night under the stars.
Tuesday
12:00 - 5:00pm Beach Day
Lie in the sun, swim in the ocean, or explore the shoreline at St. Mary’s Boat Club! Snacks, water toys, and sunscreen will be provided. You just need to bring your beach and/or swimming gear. O-Week leaders will be in the quad every hour to take students over. It’s a 15 minute walk away, but let us know if you need a ride and one of our leaders can drive you.
6:00 - 7:30pm FYP Skits with the King’s Theatrical Society
Don’t miss out on the KTS’ annual (non-rehearsed) performance of The Epic of Gilgamesh on the steps of the Library. Whether or not you’re enrolled in FYP, this skit is a hilarious annual tradition you’ll want to see. Plus, it takes off some stress for FYPers trying to finish their first readings.
8:00 - late Fill Yer Boots Kitchen Party in the Wardroom
The Wardroom’s first official opening of the academic year will be a classic Maritime tradition - a kitchen party! Typically, these parties take place in (you guessed it), a kitchen, but the King’s equivalent of that community space is our campus bar. Meet your classmates, tell stories, and dance the night away!
Our special wet/dry liquor license means that any King’s student, 19+ or under, can be in the Wardy while the bar is open. We’ve got beer, cider, cocktails, and mocktails for those not yet 19. As a members only bar, outside guests must be 19+ and need to be signed in by a King’s student (each student gets up to 2 guests). Our license is no longer issued, so please please please follow these rules, because if we lose our license, we lose it for good.
Wednesday

Start your day off with a morning yoga session! Yoga mats will be provided.
11:30am - 2:30pm Societies & Services Fair
