I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Brazil when I was 19 years old.  Since then, I love to share about our Saviour, Jesus Christ, with everyone.   I worked for the Church Education System when living in Brazil and am so happy to be able to carry on His work now in New Zealand.  I have a wonderful family; my wife and I live in Paraparaumu, whilst my two daughters and son live overseas.  When not working for the Church, I was a psychologist and helped people with mental-health issues.

I was called as a Seminary teacher in 2017 and fell in love with teaching from the scriptures and my amazing students.  In December 2022 I left teaching in primary schools and joined the S&I team - hopefully to help others enjoy teaching the gospel through Seminary & Institute.   I love spending time walking the Wellington coastline with my husband, Craig, and trying to win at board games with our 2 children.  I'm an expert at avoiding housework by spending time on my calling or curling up with a book.

We are Elder and Sister Hadley.  We are most recently from Mt. Pleasant, Utah.  Prior to that, we lived for 30 years in the southwest corner of Washington.  There we had a dairy, beef cattle and sheep operation.  We both had the privilege of serving missions when we were younger, Sister Hadley to Germany and Elder Hadley to the Netherlands and have looked forward to serving together for the past 44 years.  We have been blessed to serve in the church in various callings throughout our lives.  One of those opportunities has been teaching early morning and release-time seminary.  We look forward to the opportunity to work with the youth and Young Single Adults on the South Island.  We have 23 grandchildren and they along with our 8 children and spouses are praying for us and we are blessed to be here in New Zealand.
