Updated DECE Registration Packets
Below you will find downloadable PDFs of registration checklists and packets updated for fiscal year 2026-2027 and the corresponding 2026-2027 summer and school year enrollment periods.
NEW content for FY27 registration packets includes:
Updated Family Welcome Letters: to be distributed to parents who return signed letters along with a completed and signed registration packet. This requirement applies to all new and returning families
New Registration Packets for Head Start City Transitional enrollments

Registration packets are required for all NYCPS contract enrollments and should be completed in full; include the signature of the parent/guardian; and be dated on the day signed, which may not be earlier than May 2026 to be accepted for the 2026-2027 summer and/or school year enrollment periods.
NOTE: English is available as of May 19, 2026 with translations to follow. Please use these packets for all NYCPS enrollments; other registration packets should not be used. Although no substantive changes have been made to the registration file, the legally required Family Welcome Letter you collect, countersign and upload with registration packet or maintain on file should be dated 05/2026. If you provide families with the an older version of the family welcome letter, it is strongly advised that you have them update at on or directly after the first day of school to ensure compliance.
