How to present the Lesson Power Point in Zoom:
It is assumed that
* powerpoint material is already completed, praise & worship video is embedded in power point, lesson video (if used) is embedded in power point.
* you are already admitted to zoom by the Zoom host
Open the powerpoint (lesson)
In zoom, click [Share Screen]
Select [Basic tab]
Select powerpoint: the lesson
Tick the [Share computer sound] checkbox
Tick the [Optimize Screen Sharing for Video Clip] checkbox
Click the [Share] button
In powerpoint, start slideshow
Note: you will not be able to see the kids or any other participant in zoom
If you would want to see the kids:
if you're already more or less familiar with powerpoint and zoom controls, check the other training video: Sharing in Presenter View
may join the meeting with another gadget (i.e. cfone), and check on the kids' reactions from there
If video will be launched from another software,
example:
directly from YouTube (in step4: select the browser)
from video software (in step4: select the video player)
and then follow the next same steps.

Open power point (lesson)
In powerpoint, run slide-show
In powerpoint slideshow, right-click and select [Presenter View]
In powerpoint presenter view, click [Show Taskbar]
In the task bar, select Zoom
In zoom, select [Share Screen]
In zoom Share Screen:
tick [Share computer sound] checkbox
tick [Optimize Screen Sharing for Video Clip] checkbox
click to [Advanced] tab
in Advanced tab, select [Portion of Screen]
in Advanced tab, click the [Share] button
You can see a rectangular item
only part of your screen that is inside the rectangle will be seen by the other participants
you may view your notes
you may adjust the space around
you may also view the other participants
in zoom, start your video if you haven't yet
in zoom, look for "..." or "More", and select "Show Video Panel" to see the participant's video

If you do not want powerpoint to occupy your whole screen:
In powerpoint [Slide Show] menu, click [Set Up Slide Show]
In Set Up Show, select [Browsed by an individual window]
Click the "OK" button
Start the slideshow (you may adjust your powerpoint window, and will have some space around your screen for the participants' video and others

Waiting room: ENABLED (add instructions/rules for kids while in NXTGEN)
Chat: DISABLED
Everyone as presenter: DISABLED (only Host/co-Hosts be allowed to share)
Desktop sharing: ENABLED (to be able to select portion of screen for display)
Allow participants to rename themselves: ENABLED
Co-host: ALLOWED to add co-hosts
Breakout room : ENABLED
Virtual background: ENABLED
FB Live : ENABLED
Start NXTGEN Zoom from web
[9:30 AM] Admit lifeshapers and make them co-hosts (may do earlier for Lifeshaper's devotional)
(OPTIONAL) Allow kids to join earlier and watch a video while teachers are doing the preparations
Create and open huddle break-out room for teachers' devo & dry run
Move the teachers into the huddle break-out room
Allow kids to automatically join the meeting earlier: Play the video for the lesson at the main room
Close huddle break-out room after teacher's huddle/immediately before start of the opening prayer
[just before or immediately after the opening prayer] Start FB live at CCF Dubai South NXTGEN FB Closed Group
[after praise & worship] Create break-out rooms:
1 for big boys, ages 10-11 (Level 4)
1 for big boys, ages 6-9 (Level 2/3)
1 for big girls, ages 10-11 (Level 4)
1 for big girls, ages 6-9 (Level 2/3)
small kids will remain in the main room (Level 1)
may adjust number of break-out rooms with the number of attending lifeshapers (kids ages 8-9 may be assigned to Level4 room to balance the number of kids per teachers)
Assign squad leader to each break-out room as agreed on assignment
Assign kids to each appropriate break-out room
may adjust the number of kids per room to balance the number of kids per lifeshaper
Set-up break-out room settings by ticking the check-box on the following:
move all participants to the breakout rooms automatically
allow participants to return to the main session at anytime
break-out room closes automatically after 30-40 minutes (note: set duration such that squad time will end at exactly 12:00NN)
notify me when time is up
countdown after closing break-out room: 60 seconds
[upon instruction of the large group teacher] Open the break-out rooms
[once all squad leaders have confirmed that squad discussion has finished] Close break-out rooms
[after closing prayer] Stop FB Live
[after end of lifeshaper discussion for improvement] End meeting

* fill-in the flow of communication should large group teacher may be adjusting controls, etc
