The L.O.V.E. We Live By (3 minutes)

1. Loved by God- 

1. For God so loved me that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life (personalized John 3:16)

2. Jesus came that I may have life and have it abundantly (personalized John 10:10)

2. Oh, no, I have sinned!- 

1. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” Romans 3:23. That includes me. 

2. “For the wages of sin is death” Romans 6:23 Because I am a sinner, as payment for my sins, I will die. I am separated from God.

3. Victory has been won by Jesus-

 … on the cross of Calvary, Jesus died to take our place to pay for the penalty of our sins. “Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)

4. Encounter Jesus and believe in Him

1. I need to make the decision to believe in Jesus and follow Him.

2. I will ask for forgiveness for my sins.

3. I recognize that Jesus is the only one who can save me.

4. I need to ask Him to enable me to obey Him in my life.

5. “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name.” (John 1:12 NASB) If I believe in God, I will become His child.
