About Us

History:

Northwest Santa Clara Valley MATHCOUNTS Chapter was formed in 2018. Previously, schools in Northwest Santa Clara Valley Chapter belonged to a larger Santa Clara Valley MATHCOUNTS Chapter. As a long time coordinator Tim McCarthy retired, SCV Chapter it was divided into four small chapters: Northwest Santa Clara Valley Chapter,  South Santa Clara Valley Chapter, Fremont Chapter and Central Santa Clara Valley Chapter.
