VIA @ North Vista - Sec 4 2021

As part of the nationwide PAssionArts Festival, our Secondary 4 students participated in the Garden of HeARTs art initiative which was organised in partnership with the People's Association.

Inspired by our schools' values of Care, Respect, Responsibility and Resilience, our students painted their designs on large canvases. These were later installed and disaplayed outside Compass One, forming a garden of hearts. Students were able to take pride in seeing their artworks showcased in the Sengkang community.

Through the Garden of HeARTs initiative, our students were brought together in their classes through the arts, and were provided a platform for expression of emotions, beliefs and thoughts.

Behind-The-Scenes

“Some of the challenges include the mixing of the colours. We overcame this by systematically experimenting. It was also hard to paint accurately along the lines, and since the giraffe board was very large, many of us did not know what to do. However, we all figured it out along the way in the end! " - 4T1
