The Purple Star School Overview slide deck is an introductory professional learning to provide an overview to your staff. It includes:

• what is a Purple Star School

• why you should become a Purple Star School

• what schools need to do

• what your staff needs to do.

The slide deck is generic and should be modified to fit your school's needs. There are spaces and slides specifically designed to allow you to add your site-specific information.

The Military Acronyms & Abbreviations slide deck contains frequently used and heard terms. It is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all military acronyms, just the ones most likely to be heard by schools and community members.

If you find one is missing, please let us know and we will get it added.
