Nellis Air Force Base Special Needs Identification & Assignment Coordination Process (SNIAC) and Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) Identifies

• Family members with special medical or educational services.

• Checks for resource availability in both military and civilian communities.

• Does not affect promotion.

• Does not prevent members from being reassigned.

• Enrollment is mandatory if a family member has special needs.

Each branch of the military has their own EFMP Coordinator. To ease the process for schools assisting families new to the EFMP support, please reach out to the support at Nellis even if the servicemember is not Air Force. They will provide you with the appropriate contact information to provide the family.
