Holly Payne

As the School Liaison Officer for MCMWTC Bridgeport, I serve as an information source and primary point of contact for school-related matters for our military families, the Command Team, and the Eastern Sierra Unified School District. My goal is to assist and support our military families and children to help facilitate successful school transitions and foster academic success.

I graduated from Kennesaw State University in December of 2010 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management. Following graduation, I went on to work as a licensed insurance agent for State Farm before attending graduate school to obtain my teaching certification. In July of 2013, I began my graduate program at The University of West Georgia in Carrollton, Georgia to complete my teaching degree and obtain my teaching certification and credentials.

While completing the graduate program, I had the opportunity to work for an attorney in Atlanta, Georgia as his case manager and legal assistant. It was there that I had the opportunity to gain my knowledge in researching and interpreting case law which I believe gives me a unique advantage in my role as a School Liaison Officer.

In April of 2016, I graduated from the University of West Georgia with a Master of Arts in Teaching, Secondary Business Education. Before moving to the Coleville/Bridgeport area, I worked as a high school business education teacher at Alexander High School located in Douglasville, Georgia. There I taught Accounting, Business, and Advanced Accounting courses for grades 9-12.

I just recently earned the title of School Liaison Officer here at the MCMWTC in Bridgeport but I am looking forward to working with our local school district and the Nevada Department of Education to ensure our military children are receiving the best education possible and to help bring awareness to the unique needs of our military-connected children.

Thank you,
