River Levels at: Colwick, Clifton, Soar/Trent confluence, Erewash at Sandiacre, Derwent/Trent confluence Shardlow, Willington (approx 12 hours upstream) River Dove just before Trent confluence, Drakelow (just under 24 hours upstream) 

The Trent  catchment area upstream of NKC includes the rivers Dove, Derwent, Soar, Erewash & Leen. Together with the Upper Trent, all contribute to the height and flow at NKC

(New Environment Agency terminology introduced in late 2021 refers to any level up to 3.6m at Colwick as "Normal" but for safe paddling from NKC the colour code, terminology and the guidance in the Rule of Thumb chart are much more appropriate.)
