Week 5

Even in the fifth week of my internship, I am still unable to complete Ida's walk cycle as promised. Monday through Wednesday, I worked on the same assignment nonstop while searching YouTube for several reference walk cycles for 3D characters. Thursday came, i almost finished touching up the walk cycle but did not get the chance to finish it because I was told to study on how to model and rigging a character in 3D. I watch videos on YouTube and spend the entire day reading the instructions that the interns wrote, as well as studying their notes and advice. I'm the kind of person who needs to do practical tasks while watching videos in order to memorise the process rather than just skimming and scanning written documents and videos, so they just give me the task to study rather than having me complete the model while studying. They refused to authorise it even after I questioned them about it, telling me to watch and study documents and YouTube videos solely. 

Friday has come, and it was the day where I studied and watched the videos of how to model a cloth and how to colour the clothing in 3D. As for clothing, they asked me to study first in the morning and do a test on modelling a cloth after lunch hour. At 2.30 pm, I try to do simple baju kurung using the model of Ana. During the whole process I kept testing and trying an error on clothing. To be honest, in my opinion, it's hard to model a hijab. The process was quite tricky yet complicated but I barely managed to do it. However, 40 minutes before working hours ends, all intern were called into meeting room and our supervisor gives us tasks for next week beforehand because on monday next week is public holiday which is Deepavali.
