Google Maps Rocks!
Biking on the streets is still like a lot of US cities (not bike friendly, so be aware and watch out)
Turn on Google Maps' layer for "Bicycling" and you'll see the insane network of trails!
I've hosted a few cyclists at my home and I ride my ebike all over the area (I used to be a bike mechanic)
Waterton Canyon is accessible, exclusively by bike trails and back roads (no street riding necessary!)
It's a lovely ride which I've done many, many times!
If I have the time, and some advance notice, I may join you for the ride to the trail marker "1776"
Rent an ebike and go EVERYWHERE!
Walk to Aspen Grove, from my house, and rent an ebike from GoodTurn Cycles
Ride bike paths (no cars!)
Start out, on the Mary Carter Greenway bike path, along the South Platte River
Go North: Downtown Denver (15 miles)
Go South: Chatfield Reservoir (6 miles)
Go South: Waterton Canyon (9.5 miles)
Every fall (August), Littleton hosts a criterium - so be sure to check it out, if you're in the area!
This is a legit race with lots of fun things to see and do for the day!
